Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator Dalia Abrams
I have been teaching childbirth classes since 1997, starting at a hospital in Minneapolis, MN. Since moving to Birmingham in 1999, I have been teaching small private classes in my home or the homes of clients.
"I really enjoyed connecting with other couples who were of like mind with us regarding childbirth....Being 'equipped' for a natural childbirth in a hospital was priceless. I believe this class had a lot to do with how happy I am with my own birth experience!"
- Classes are offered in a warm and supportive environment that respects and trusts women and their ability to birth naturally.
- A lending library offers access to books that inform, while encouraging families to make their own health care choices.
- Five week classes include a free postpartum visit to answer questions and help out with breastfeeding and newborn care.
