Pregnancy and Postpartum Fitness

Pregnancy and postpartum is a time full of change for your body. You may be wondering what this means for your fitness routine or what is safe for you during this special time. In this class, you’ll learn all about common perinatal health topics such as diastasis recti and how and why these considerations impact your workouts. You’ll get hands on information as well as answers to your personal fitness questions so you can feel comfortable moving your body in pregnancy and returning to fitness postpartum.

Pregnancy and Postpartum Fitness is a class designed to
  • Teach you about the core and pelvic floor and how it changes during pregnancy and postpartum

  • Give you an overview of considerations for exercise during each trimester in pregnancy and when returning to fitness postpartum
  • Answer your questions about particular exercises in pregnancy and postpartum and give you the tools to assess whether a specific exercise routine is right for you
  • Help you learn how to manage pain and symptoms during exercise and what to do if they arise as well as where to go  when those issues need further evaluation
  • Empower you to feel comfortable and strong moving your body in these amazing phases of life
